I am wanting to convert my pistol grip to a Remington 1100 stock. I’m having a hard time taking the pistol grip off. Does anyone have experience and want to shed some light on how to get this thing off? I have the QD quick connect used to as a cap off which contains the spring and buffer, but unable to get the grip off now. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated!

Hello! I recently inherited the first gun I ever hunted with from my grandfather. A Remington 1100, it certainly has seen some use and busted a lot of dove over the years. The issue is, even with the tube full of shells, the bolt is locking back when cycling the bolt manually. I’ve cleaned it well and the problem is persisting.
